| Truth be told, we were in Philadelphia for my mother’s birthday. My mother is a seafood fan and we decided to take her to Devon Seafood Grill for lunch and then some shopping.
Devon Seafood Grill has a great location in Rittenhouse square and makes it centrally located to many nice areas in Philly. After lunch or dinner you can walk around this area or head to a bar for another drink or for some dessert nearby.

Devon Seafood in Philly, What we ate:
- Oysters Starter (west-coast and east-coast mix)
- Salmon (charcoal grilled)
- Swordfish (lightly field)
- Crabcake sandwich (with fries and cocktail sauce to dip)
- Seared Scallops (with root vegetables and mash)
The food and wine were all very good. The atmosphere of the restaurants is perfect and loos very classy. They also have large round tables in a semi-private area if you want to have a larger group eat together. Overall I think it ranks up there with one of my favorite restaurants in Philly.
