Probably one of the most famous restaurants in North Brooklyn, 5Leaves sits on the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, at the North West corner of Mc Carren park. I went simple and had a cheese burger (of course) and it was up to the usual standard – Good bordering Great. One day I’ll adventure to try something else there! LOL

Two Boys Kissing

This book was a was pretty good for many reasons, not to mention being an easy read and for YA literature it is pretty grounded. The book is a good fictional view on real issues that young gays face. Touching on everything from coming out to transgendered identities. I would recommend this book to anyone that has experienced adolescents from the early 2000s to now, gay or otherwise.

On page 121 the book talks about Aretha Franklin’s Version of “What a Difference a Day Made” I would also recommend listen to it!

Memorable Night Out in East Village

Night out with the guys in the Eastvillage. Sadly we did not get to goto all the parties I had scooped out but at least I was able to see Andrew Ayres working the door at Webster Hall. He have me this awesome Donald Duck skinned Mickey mouse ears! Made the night complete!

WSJ Spurs

Today I wore my spurs into work – a purchase inspired by Tanya Johnson and endorsed by Peter Kovacs. I was not able to find a place in manhattan to purchase them so Amazone.com is your best bet. Some notes :: Hard to walk down stares, they do make that cowboy “clink” sound (so satisfying) and they are definitely something novel to see at any job involving suites!
