| I am so excited to finally get this case and there is a bit of a story behind it… Back in November 2013 I was looking for a new winter iPhone case. After searching far and wide I landed on another McQueen. The problem was that I was about ready to head back to my parents for Thanksgiving. Knowing my luck, any order I placed online would show up at my apt when I was not there or would arrive at my parents just as I left to come back to NYC.
Since I live in NYC I decided to call the Alexander McQueen store on Madison to see if the case was in stock. I was hoping to have a quick call, put it on hold, and pick it up. The conversation when as follows:
Me: Hello do you have the McQueen Pony hair iPhone Case with the Leopard print?
Associate: We don’t have iPhone cases.
Me: You have no cases at all?
Associate: Well not that case. Are you sure it’s not McQ?
Me: Yes, I know it’s McQueen – it has a skull snap flap at the top of the case.
Associate: Well we have the basic case.
Me: So you do have an iPhone case? What does it look like?
Associate: It’s plain without the flap and says Alexander McQueen.
Me: Ok well that’s not what i’m looking for.
Associate: …. [science]
Me: Well… thank you… for your “help”?
I was at least hoping for a recommendation on somewhere I could get the case in NYC or maybe she would call another store to see if it could be shipped to me quickly.
Fast forward to April and I received a coupon in my email. I had no reason not to purchase it online now 😉 LOL
It is definitely up to my expectations. xxx
