With fast fashion currently on the rise, the quality of clothes has undeniably declined. Shirts rip easily, shoes do not last, and nice jeans are hard come by. I have some decent denim in my closet, but nothing could ever compare to my pair of Diesel Thanaz. They are my most prized pair and I got them when I worked for Diesel years ago.

During my time as a Diesel employee, Thanaz jeans were the most popular skinny-fit style and sold out everywhere! This pair has a ‘Bastonata’ wash, which means they were beaten with a stick to achieve a weathered look. I have kept these Thanaz jeans in my “archive” for years and have remained in great condition. They just do not make clothes like this anymore!

| I started today out with the intent to play some PokemonGo in Soho. I ran my battery down to zero so I started shopping.
I was doing a good job at resisting my shopping compulsion until I saw a 5 foot long pair of Diesel Black Gold jeans hanging at the Diesel Soho store. Needless to day I was intrigued, and was convinced to try them on. The DBG 2614 are really quite cool. They are made to bunch as  you wear them and have this texture that I could never achieve on other jeans. They are lightweight and stretchy, so easy to bunch how and where you like. I found that If I bunch them over my entire leg they do slightly drift down as the day goes on. On a side note I bought a matching short sleeve button down and shorts from Club Monaco just for a laugh and ended up really liking them.

| I am so excited to finally purchase the Kenzo eye sweatshirt in Navy! Plus I thought “why not purchase” these funky Diesel socks! It does not even matter that I probably cannot wear this sweater until fall but I am still in love. <3
