As Williamsburg starts bringing in more menswear stores, as slow as ever, there are some highlights. Case and point H.W. Carter & Sons – 127 North 6th in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

A quick stop between Dinner at the Wythe Hotel and then to see Goro Miyazaki’s film “From up on poppy hill” (Kokurikozaka Kara) at Williamsburg cinemas I happend upon these great shades from Mosley Tribes. Overall a great weekend – plus I took my new shades out for a spin around SOHO today!

Navy & Heather

A subtle and sophisticated combination; Navy Blue and Heather Gray are a great combination from workout attire to semi formal events!

Be Careful though, both of these colors are hard to match with their own color side-by-side. Be sure to have at least a layer of separation or a few shades lighter or darker.

So last weekend I missed a week of my brainless sketching because I was helping out back at my parents house with some prep work for the new room that is going to be constructed. I’m hoping to do one more this weekend to catchup and be semi-consistant. I actually mixed up my “routine” today and went to the outside,weekend, flea market to get a plumb and eggplant sandwich. Then I took it to get my coffee and finished them both while I finished this cloud.
