I grew up in Pennsylvania, half-way between Philadelphia and Reading. When I was a baby, we moved into our 100-year-old farmhouse, and there were no more than a handful of neighbors around. By the time I graduated high school, there was a housing development surrounding us on all sides.
I went to school at a state university and moved to NYC to follow my creative dreams and to be surrounded by good people and good living.

What I Think
I know some of this may be unpopular, but i’m not here to make everyone happy. However, let’s chat and share our thoughts. You may even get a good rant out of me about how people need to use the “RIGHT” door or that they shouldn’t “STOP DEAD” in the middle of a New York City sidewalk mid-day.
History
My story
I’m worried as time goes on that my story is going to date me ~ but let’s risk it!
I first tried my hand at coding by hacking MySpace table layouts for friends and local businesses. This gave me some “clout,” as a high school student, landing a gig updating the HS website and Art Club website with Photoshop CS (V8), Microsoft Frontpage and Dreamweaver.
My first personal webpage was published in 2006, and my first website in 2007. I taught myself to code and built my own LAMP stack on GoDaddy, then Bluehost, and continue today on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
I started to draw by watching anime, combing the internet through AOL to find new shows and using downloads from Limewire. Eventually, with savings from my summer jobs, I started buying anime from Suncoast Video, and the only Anime/Manga magazine available, “New Type,” from the comic book store.
I initially went to university to be an art teacher, but quickly switched majors to Communication Design. I had brief ambitions of an MFA in painting and photography, but I realized Communication Design would be more practical, and I ultimately graduated with a BFA in that field, with a concentration in Digital/Advertising Design.
All of these experiences taught me the “life hacks”, perseverance, and creativity that I would eventually weave into all my future endeavors. I keep following my passion and discovering how something that did not have immediate value to others helps me relate to my friends, my family and my career.

Achievements
A mix of curiosity, creativity, and persistence has shaped my path — from publishing articles and exhibiting art to developing plugins and sharing insights as a guest speaker. Each milestone reflects a new way I’ve explored and connected ideas across design, tech, and storytelling.
