Currently dont know what im doing with my life, i believe something perfect will pop up, so im just waiting for that to happen aha much to the dismay of my mother. Hobbies include photography, fashion (hoping to attend LondonFashionWeek in September) and drawing, but the fun gets sucked out of it when you get asked for too many commisions. Oh I also shop waaay too much, last count i had 420 t-shirts alone In life i want to leave a stamp, and i believe i have already achieved that from the drawings i have given to others and to the friendships and love i have shared with people.

NOTHING WITHOUT AN AXE:

BEST MADE CO

NOTHING WITHOUT AN AXE:

Every high-rise condo, luxury office, executive suite, ranch house, and farmstead must have an axe in it. We know that axes shouldn’t only be in the hands of lumberjacks: anyone and everyone should have an axe in their name. Put it in your cubicle, give it to your niece as a graduation present, or your dad for father’s day (or better yet mom for mother’s day), bring it to the company picnic, carry it to the door next time Jehovah’s Witness come knocking, or just lean it up against your living room wall and admire. An axe is indispensable and sublime, the epitome of self-reliance and independence, a perfect design object, a timeless instrument.

The new Acropolis Museum

text by Katerina Biliouri for Yatzer

The New Acropolis Museum in Athens is a fact. For Yatzer, the Greek originated global online destination for those who are passionate about design and architecture (+more), no other happening could possibly hold the title of the major event that marked June of 2009. The Museum, designed by the Swiss-born architect Bernard Tschumi in collaboration with Michalis Photiadis & Associate Architects in Athens, opened its doors to the public only a few days ago on June 20th. Located only 300 meters (980 feet) SouthEast of the Parthenon, with an exhibition space of 14,000 square meters and a cost of €130 million, the New Acropolis Museum houses some of the most famous works of classical antiquity. It aims at providing the visitors with a comprehensive picture of the human presence on the Acropolis, from the pre-historic times through late Antiquity, with the advantage of being built on the slope of the Acropolis itself. The three major materials used for its construction are glass for the facades and some of the floors, concrete for the core and the columns, as well as marble for the galleries. Innovative Whitelines® Writing Paper Benefits

Whitelines® products

White lined notebook paper

Whitelines® is the new generation of writing paper. The concept is patented and yet very simple: Since markings from pens are dark they interfere with the traditional dark lines of ordinary paper. On Whitelines® there is no visual interference between the lines and the pen colour. Whitelines® makes your writing and sketches stand out.

Whitelines® paper is toned which means that strong light doesn’t gleam in your eyes when it gets reflected in the paper as ordinary paper does.

Tez Humphreys: Beauty in Imperfection

Tez Humphreys

// Extract taken from Flavorpill 03/06
Tez Humphreys lives in and works from his cluttered studio in the better half of Leeds, England, where — in his mixed-media collages and graphic illustrations — he scours for beauty in imperfections. Humphreys’ work has appeared in national and international publications such as Dazed & Confused, Computer Arts magazine, Esquire, and Anthem, among others. Though ostensibly a newbie in the world of commercial illustration at the prime old age of 23, he asserts that nothing will hinder him from realizing his ambitions in his chosen field. Augmenting Humphreys’ illustration work is a career at an upbeat advertising agency, where he absorbs valuable lessons in methods of deliverance and concept-building. He is currently working on various editorial commissions, and by night, produces large-scale handcrafted illustrations onto canvas for upcoming solo exhibitions in the UK and Europe.
