Christopher Kane 2014 Spring/Summer Collection

Renowned Scottish fashion designer Christopher Kane delivers a stellar collection under his eponymous imprint for 2014 spring/summer. Culling inspirations from graphic elements like the human body, 3D interpretations and grid-inspired designs, the spring/summer collection sees classic staples like the button-up, blazer, pleated shorts and tapered trousers re-imagined with bold designs. Elsewhere, loose, casual outfits offer more complacent options, as hoodies, pullovers and scarfs cater for the leisurely. Employing bright hues in juxtaposition to the otherwise plain silhouettes, Kane adds his own tech-driven aesthetics to the forthcoming season, nodding at futuristic motifs — a stark contrast to the retro sensibilities of other contemporary high fashion designers.

Bodhi Handbags Spring 2012

Starting my new position at the company I had to take an existing “customized” e-commerce platform and alter it to work as a modern comprehensive e-commerce store. Through various CSS tricks and template alterations I performed the maximum number of sales and visual improvements within the short span of 1 month.
(while simultaneously creating imaging standards and uploading detailed products.)

(TL) Homepage : Complete with Flash Handbag carousel and new color pallet

(TP) Women Landing : Hacked landing page to display over top of background and utilize maximum space.

(BL) Product Category Display : Edited the limited scroll display to use the entire width of the browser. Standardized product size.

(BR) Product Detail : Changed product to show color options and created an easy to use description page.

Mobile Smart Phone Grocery Shopping in Subway Stations

Imagine waiting for the train while picking out your groceries from a display case filled with products identical in size, scale and color to really grocery store shelves. If the first round of the digital revolution was about making the real virtual, this time it is about making the virtual real again.

South Korean grocery chain Tesco was looking for a way to one-up their major competitor – impossible to do in terms of physical shops due to a lack of actual stores; hence, they turned toward the world wide web with a combination of mobile phone and QR code technologies.

Using smartphones, shoppers can browse the isles during time normally spent idle anyway on their way to or from work. Their purchased products are then delivered by the store, waiting for them when they get home and ready to be put right into the kitchen cabinets, refrigerator or freezer.
