Pride at KOP & Eileen Fisher Visit

I went to visit the Eileen Fisher store at King of Prussia for Pride Month. You can see the celebratory Pride message up on their in-store screen. Every Eileen Fisher location has one of these screens that they broadcast a certain campaign or special messaging onto. In fact, the entire mall had select stores that featured Pride in its windows, or through a specialized product, or by asking for a donation at checkout.

There is has been some controversy about corporatizing Pride; a conflict about using it as a marketing ploy more so than actually supporting the community. But a number of stores in the mall actually did and do on a regular basis support the community outside of just adding a rainbow to their logo for the season.

Wow, if you looked at this post on instagram you’ll see this was titled “2020 started on a high and ended… it finally ended.” I cannot express how stressful, rewarding, and generally crazy this year was.

I went through a major overhaul of my brand and personal sites. Moved to a new area in NY to be between my two work locations, just for the Manhattan (NYC) location to be closed due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 keeping Angel and me alone at our apartment for our first full-year of marriage. Plus a huge leap forward in my business ZAMARTZ Consulting LLC …

A Gilt Noir Status Perk | Zachary Prell at Saks off 5th

| To my suprise there are men’s perk from Gilt.com and the first I experienced with a see-now-buy-now post show disgussion by Zachary Prell.I was excited to finally cash-in on a perk I received as a result of spending… enough money… on Gilt.com and acheiving “Noir” status. The conversation was very intimate, starting with champagne and a meet-and-greet, followed by a Q&A. The Q&A centered mostly around how Zachary brought about the vision of his fashion line and how there was a learning curve to starting a business out of his general area of expertise. Zachary is extremely approachable and as a fellow “Zach” I was please to see the good name being shed in such good light. Overall the experience was good and I would not hesitate to go to another Gilt Noir perk.

Manus X Machina at the Met and More

The idea was simple, Mikey and I would goto the Manus x Machina exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on mother’s day morning to avoid the crowds. We also viewed Pergamon marble work and Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun paintings among our short meandering path between the lot.
